DME Chhattisgarh Provides UG Counseling for Admission to Dental, Medical, and BAMS Programs.

To be eligible to participate in the Chhattisgarh NEET UG Counselling, a candidate must visit the official website of the conducting authority, https://cgdme.in/index.php, and complete an online application form. For NEET counseling, the National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test will be utilized. The counseling process will only be open to those who meet NEET qualifications.

On the other hand, Chhattisgarh NEET UG Counseling will be offline at DME Chhattisgarh. 85% of the state quota seats for MBBS and BDS programs offered by this state's institutions will be filled by students from Chhattisgarh.

Eligibility for NEET UG Counselling in Chhattisgarh:

 

To be eligible for Chhattisgarh NEET UG Counselling, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. Nationality and Residency:

    • The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

2. Domicile:

  • Candidates should be permanent residents of Chhattisgarh.

  • Exceptions are made for candidates whose parents are employees of the Government of Chhattisgarh and Central government employees posted in Chhattisgarh.

3. Age Requirement:

  • Candidates must be at least 17 years old.

4. Educational Qualifications:

  • Must have passed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects.

  • Minimum aggregate marks required in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology):

    • General Category: 50%

    • SC/ST/OBC Categories: 40%

    • Physically Handicapped (PH) Category: 45%

5. NEET Qualification:

  • Candidates must have qualified for the NEET UG examination with the minimum required percentile as specified by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

  1. NEET UG Admit Card: Proof of appearance in the NEET UG examination.

  4. Class 12 Mark Sheet: Certificate confirming the candidate's completion of higher secondary education with the required subjects.

  5. Chhattisgarh State Residential Certificate: Proof of the candidate's permanent residency in Chhattisgarh.

  6. Chhattisgarh State Character Certificate: Document attesting to the candidate's good conduct.

  7. Caste/Category Certificate (if applicable): For candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, etc.

  8. Income Certificate (for OBC candidates): Proof of income to support claims for reservation under the OBC category.

  9. PwD Certificate (if applicable): For candidates applying under the Persons with Disabilities quota.

  10. Freedom Fighter Certificate (if applicable): Issued by the Collectorate for candidates claiming reservation under this category.

  11. Allotment Letter: Document issued after seat allotment, indicating the college and course assigned to the candidate.

  12. Aadhaar Card/Other Photo Identity Proof: Valid government-issued photo identification.

  13. Passport-sized Photographs: Recent photographs as specified in the counselling guidelines.

Chhattisgarh detailed step-by-step Counselling Process:

Step 1: Registration: 

 

Step 1 A: Registering Online

 

  • Access the Official Portal: Visit the DME Raipur website at cgdme.admissions.nic.in.

  • New User Registration: Click on "New User Registration" and provide the required details, including a valid email ID and mobile number.

  • Application Form Completion: Log in with the generated credentials to fill out the application form with personal, academic, and NEET details.




Step 1 B: Upload Documents

 

  • The following documents will need to be pulled up for upload:

             Current Color Image Featuring White Background (20kb–50kb)

             Signature in Blue/Black Ink on White Paper (10kb–20kb)

             Additional pertinent documents (such as category and qualification certificates) in one

             PDF file (no more than 500 KB in size).

 

Step 1 C: Examine the Uploaded Images

 

  • View the uploaded images after uploading.

  • Make sure the proper spaces allow a clear view of your photo and signature.

  • You can use the same process to re-upload the images if they are not satisfactory.

  • Verify that the photo and signature spaces are not interchanged.

 

Step 1 D: Final Submission and Declaration

 

  • Examine Every Field Completed.

  • Check the "Declaration" checkbox if all the information is correct.

  • On the "Final Submit" button, click.

  • An application/registration number will be generated upon submission.

  • The application number and password will be sent to you via email and SMS. Save These for Later Use.

  • To pay the fee, click the provided link.

  • Pay a non-refundable registration fee for all categories.

  • Fees can be paid online via Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card.

Step 2: Publication of Merit List:

 Step 2 A: Check for Merit List

 

  • DME Raipur releases a state merit list based on NEET UG scores.

  • Only candidates listed in the merit list are eligible for counselling.

 

 

Step 3: Filling and Locking choices:

 

 Step 3 A: Login to Counselling Portal

  • Login: Visit the official cgdme.admissions.nic.in.

  • Click on the “Candidate Login” section.

  • Enter your NEET UG Roll Number, Password, and Security Code to log in.

 

Step 3 B: Choice Filling (Selecting Colleges & Courses)

  •  Click on the "Choice Filling" option from the dashboard.

  •  A list of all available MBBS & BDS colleges will be displayed.

  • Select colleges based on your preference by clicking the “+” (Add) button next to each college.

  • The selected colleges will move to the “Your Preferences” list.

  • You can add multiple colleges and change the order of preferences.

 

 Step 3 C: Choice Locking (Finalizing Preferences)

  • After finalizing the list, click on the “Lock Choices” button.

  • Once locked, choices cannot be changed for that counseling round.

  • Enter your OTP (sent to the registered mobile number) to confirm choice locking.

  • Download and print the Choice Locking Receipt for future reference.

Important Notes:

  • If a candidate does not lock choices, the system will automatically save the last entered preferences.

  • Once locked, choices cannot be edited or rearranged.

  • Make sure to lock choices before the deadline mentioned in the counselling schedule.

 

Step 4: Allotment of Seats:



Step 4 A: Processing of Seat Allotment

  • After choice filling, the system processes seat allotment based on the following factors: NEET UG Rank – Higher-ranked candidates get priority.

  • Category & Reservation – Seats are allotted based on SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD quotas.

  • Local/Non-local Status –  follows 85% state quota for local candidates & 15% unreserved quota.

  • Seat Availability – If the first-choice seat is not available, the system considers the next preference.

 

Step 4 B: Checking the Seat Allotment Result

  • Once the seat allotment is completed, the allotment list will be published on cgdme.admissions.nic.in

  • Candidates can log in to their counselling portal and check their allotment status.

  • If a seat is allotted, candidates must download the provisional seat allotment letter from the portal.

  • This letter is required for reporting to the allotted college.

 

Step 4 C: Upgradation & Further Rounds (If Applicable)

  • If a candidate wants a better seat, they can participate in the next round of counselling.

  • Candidates who did not get a seat in Round 1 can continue in the next rounds without re-registering.

  • If allotted a seat in Round 2, the candidate must accept it, or their security deposit will be forfeited.

 

Step 4 D: Mop-Up & Stray Vacancy Rounds (If Required)

  •  If seats remain vacant after multiple rounds, Mop-Up Round is conducted.

  • Unfilled NRI/Management Quota seats are allotted in the Stray Vacancy Round.

  • Candidates must register separately for these rounds.



Step 5: Reporting and Document Verification (After Acceptance of Seat)

 

Step 5 A: Download Allotment Letter

  • Log in to the NEET UG counselling portal (cgdme.admissions.nic.in)

  • Download and print the Provisional Seat Allotment Letter

  • Carry multiple copies of the allotment letter for submission at the college

 

Step 6 B: Reporting to the Allotted College

  • Candidates must report in person at the allotted medical/dental college within the given timeframe.

  • The reporting schedule will be mentioned in the allotment letter.

 

Step 6 C: Document Verification at the College

Report to the allotted college within the stipulated time frame with all original documents for verification and complete the admission formalities.

  • Medical Fitness Certificate (Issued by a registered medical practitioner)

  • Transfer Certificate (TC)/School Leaving Certificate

  • Migration Certificate (If applicable, for students from other boards/states)

  • Fee Payment Receipts (Security deposit)



Step 6 D: Payment of Admission Fees

  • Candidates must pay the first-year tuition fee at the time of reporting.

  • Payment can be made via Demand Draft, Online Transfer, or College-Specified Mode.

  • Fee details will be provided by the respective college.

 

Step 6 E: Medical Fitness Test

  • Some colleges may conduct a Medical Fitness Test.

  • Candidates must pass this test to confirm their admission.

 

Step 6 F: Confirmation of Admission

  • Once document verification is successful, the college issues an admission confirmation receipt.

  • The candidate is officially enrolled in the course.

 

Step 6 G: Reporting to Classes

Candidates must attend the orientation and start classes as per the academic schedule.

 

Important Notes:

Failure to report on time will result in seat cancellation.
Keep multiple copies of all original & scanned documents for future use.
Candidates can upgrade seats in the next round if they wish.
